Initial Setup

Device setup for proper security, data synchronization (contacts, documents, photos, music, etc.) email configuration, password management, etc. Have you ever left the Apple store with your new iPhone only to find when you got home that Dropbox is not on there and your Google calendar is no longer syncing. That’s because Apple only deals with Apple software; not Dropbox or Google or Microsoft.

I helped an organization get set up with a password management tool so that all passwords can be security shared between all staff members seamlessly. No more risking a hack by emailing passwords to each other.

Example

I set up a client of mine with two phone numbers that ring on one cell phone. This has been a great help to separate business and personal phone calls and still carry around only one phone.

Maintenance

Have you run out of room for all the photos you’re taking or need to speed up a slow smartphone, PC or Mac?

Example

A client’s 9 year old mac had become so slow it was not even usable. With just some cleaning up and tweaking, I was able to gain her at least another year before she had to replace it.

Repair

Devices do not work 100% of the time. Many issues are simple fixes you can handle, and others may not be. We do all software repairs; connectivity issues, email malfunction, printing failures, forgotten passwords, cloud sync failures, security breaches, and software crashes.

Example

A client called me after having fallen for a phishing scam and given away control of her Mac to a scammer. I was able to restore control to her Mac and clean up the residual software that the scammer installed.
